We are a very well established, family run dental practice providing all aspects of general dentistry,
NHS ,Patient Plan & Private.
We also provide cosmetic dentistry, tooth whitening, tooth alignment with Invisalign and QuickStraightTeeth systems & facial aesthetics.
ABOUT US
The Goodwin Partnership was originally established in 1940. The Practice Owners and Principal Dentists are Dr Hywel Anthony and his family Drs Owain and Laura Anthony and Drs Jessica Anthony and Iain Marsh. We have six fantastic and experienced associate dentists working alongside us, as well as two hygienists. Here at Goodwin Dental Practice we pride ourselves in offering high quality treatment in a friendly and professional manner.
We have two practices, serving the populations of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Torfaen and beyond. We have many patients who also visit us from much further afield, including those who continue to visit after having relocated internationally.
In addition to our general and family dental services, we also offer cosmetic dentistry, tooth whitening, tooth alignment (braces) and facial aesthetic treatments.
NHS dental treatment in Wales uses a care package system. Patients pay per individual treatment package, with total charges capped at £384 per course of treatment. Routine check-ups are free for under 25's and over 60's.
New patient assessment- £27.21

0-4 fillings or extractions- £36.03
5-8 fillings or extractions- £68.75
Anterior root canal- £91.18
Posterior root canal (premolars & molars)- £182.72
Dentures- £86.40 plus the laboratory charges
Crown & Bridge- £140.44 plus laboratory charges
Periodontal care- £48.53
Urgent dental care- £37.50

Our dental chairs are very important to the smooth running of the practice. For safety and insurance reasons the maximum weight that can be applied when reclining the chair is 21 stone.
